WHAT IS STRIVE?
Strive for College is a new approach to correcting the inequalities of college access. Strive recruits undergraduate student mentors from local universities to guide low-income high school students through the process of applying to, enrolling in and paying for four-year colleges and universities. We are a national organization with chapters across the country.

MISSION

Strive for College Collaborative will ensure that every qualified, low-income high school student has the information and support necessary to successfully enroll in their best-fit college. Strive for College will foster a lifelong commitment to social entrepreneurship, mentorship, and service among today's college students—our future leaders.

 

VISION

  1. Strive for College envisions a nationwide network of Strive Chapters, with undergraduate students mentoring high school students through the college application process.
  2. Strive for College envisions 100% of these high school students successfully enrolling in their best-fit college or university.
  3. Strive for College envisions a college-bound culture in schools in America, where all qualified students aim for college and receive support from their teachers, family, community, and peers.
  4. Strive for College envisions a national movement of college students committed to mentorship and social entrepreneurship.
