Major: Chemical Engineering
Position on Board and major responsibilities/projects: As External Relations Chair for a new Chapter, my main responsibility has been to keep contact with the school we will be working with in the spring, and to search for schools where we can possibly expand to in the future.
Future Aspirations: Get a job in a Chemical Engineering field and eventually attend Business School
Why you are in Strive: Going to college was never really an option for me, since I was young I always knew I would be going. With Strive, I am able to make going to college a reality for kids who thought that it would never be an option for them.
What your favorite thing about Strive is: Working with the students and being able to see the difference you are making during each meeting.
Internal Relations Director Name: Adam Loftus

Future Aspirations: To become a CEO of a large oil and gas company.
Position on Board and major Responsibilities: I am currently the Director of Internal Relations and responsible for helping to increase our chapter's mentor base. I am also a founding member and former president of the club.
Why you are in Strive: To be able provide motivated, underprivileged students the skills and resources they need to enable them to accomplish their goal of going to college.
Favorite thing about Strive: Seeing how happy it made the students when they realized that going to college was not just a dream, but was going to become a reality.

Why you are in Strive: Strive gives me the opportunity to make a real
difference in the lives of kids who haven't been given the same gifts

students as they realize that college is a real possibility for them.

What your favorite thing about Strive is: Knowing that if just one student from our program gets into a four-year college, it will make a positive impact at the entire high school. Not to mention, it will change that student's life forever.
